The Fairfield Ohio Chapter, Inc. - Harley Owners Group was founded in 1986 and has grown to average over 300 members strong. We are proud to be sponsored by the number one dealership in the country, Tri-County Harley-Davidson, Inc. and to be affiliated with National Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.). H.O.G. is an organization founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidson Motor Company. The group was established in 1983 to offer benefits and services to Harley- Davidson enthusiasts throughout the world, and to develop a close relationship between the Harley-Davidson rider, Harley-Davidson dealer and Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Local chapters promote safe and responsible motorcycling activities for H.O.G. Chapter activities and operations are conducted in a manner consistent with a family-oriented philosophy. All chapter members are welcome and encouraged to attend each and every chapter meeting. We have an average of 75 members in attendance at each meeting. We hold our regular chapter meetings on the first Thursday of each month unless announced otherwise. All meetings are held at Tri-County Harley-Davidson (TCHD) in the service area. Usually, each meeting lasts just over an hour. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm, however many members arrive earlier to socialize. The parts department is open at that time for any purchase you care to make. As a Fairfield H.O.G. member, TCHD will treat you as a “preferred customer” on parts and motor clothes. The night of our meeting, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm you will receive extra special treatment as a preferred customer at the registers. Ask any of the officers or sales personnel what a Fairfield H.O.G. preferred customer receives.
Every year, usually in February, we have an activities planning meeting. This is done to format our riding season and put the event calendar together. In 2010 we will have over 60 activities not counting meetings. We encourage each member to participate in a variety of different rides, functions or activities all of which are sponsored and supported by the chapter and dealership. Please review the calendar for dates of each. For insurance reasons all of our rides are no alcohol, no exceptions. Many rides leave from TCHD, but not all. Ride leaders usually announce the details of each ride at meetings. All members are welcome to join these rides. New riders are asked to ride close to the front of the pack and it is customary to let the ride leader know. Please do not be embarrassed by this. It is primarily for the safety of all riders; novice or not. We have all been there at one point. If you prefer, please see one of the primary officers regarding your riding skills. We are there to help in any way we can.
We hope that you will become an integral part of Fairfield H.O.G. by participating in as many of the activities and events as you can. This includes chapter sponsored rides, events and functions involving TCHD, such as their Bike Show, Open House, Easter Party, photos with Santa, etc. Volunteers are always needed. Please do not hesitate to step forward.

All chapter members must be a member of national H.O.G. If you decide to drop your national H.O.G. membership, your chapter membership will be dropped as well. Local membership runs by calendar year January 1st thru January 1st of the next year at a cost of $15 per individual or $25 per couple.
